Thankful

November 27, 2020

This year is not one that I had in mind. With kids schooling from home more than they wanted to, sports coming to a complete halt, wearing facemasks, people losing jobs including my husband, people getting sick, or even worse and this list goes on, we all have been impacted in some way.  This week celebrating a day of thanks really had me thinking more than usual, what am I thankful for? With so much negative what is the positive coming out of this?
Well if anything this pandemic brought our family closer together, we were "forced" to spend more time together. We didn't run around going places for months. We played more games than usual, we played outside together more, we got creative. This year I'm especially thankful for good health, a messy house (because that means my family is home with me), for my trips to the grocery store (because that means I'm feeding my family ), thankful for my loud house (because that means we are all home making noise). The picture above is from our trip to Destin, definitely can't wait until we can go on vacation again - because life is all about making fun memories together and I realize this now more than ever. So ask yourself, what are you thankful for?

I'm also thankful for being a Macaroni Kid publisher for 8 years -- that has been 8 years of giveaways for the community, hosting fun events, writing product reviews, exploring new places, and getting the word out about local businesses. I appreciate you being here. Please help this edition grow - Tell your family and friends about us!
