I took a little trip to San Antonio with the family and had a wonderful stay at Courtyard Marriott SeaWorld/Westover Hills for so many reasons. First off it was easy to get to, located right off the off the Highway 151 corridor. As soon as we drove up to the property the kids were so excited, it is a very impressive looking property. We walked into the beautiful lobby and were wowed a little more. When we checked in, customer service was great, and not just for myself I noticed the customer next to me was also having a nice experience with their front desk staff member.
The room was clean (which is so important to my family) bright and spacious for my family also had a patio. The rooms have a refrigerator which is great to keep your drinks cold if you're heading to the park. You're allowed to bring one unopened bottle of water per person to SeaWorld. In the bathroom they were "green" by having large bottles in the shower instead of the smaller ones which is less waste.... and they smelled so nice too!
My kids wasted no time and we headed right to the pool. We loved the vibe, lots of families playing in the pool, music playing near the swim up pool and the temperature was just right. The kids got a kick out of the partial indoor pool you can get to from the outside. I was able to enjoy the hot tub and relax, well just for a moment until I was back in the pool playing with my family. They have a nice workout room right near the pool as well as a conference center with nice accomodations over 8,000 plus sq feet total event space.
The lobby had a few areas where you can just sit or lay and just relax.

After our evening swim we had a great night sleep in the extremely comfortable beds. There were many options to eat close by but we had breakfast in The Bistro. They served Starbucks coffee and great breakfast choices and excellent customer service which seemed to be the standard at this hotel. My kids really enjoyed playing board games while at breakfast, it was a nice addition to the breakfast experience.
The hotel offers a free shuttle to SeaWorld/Aquatica which saves you a $23 parking fee! Make sure to sign up when you arrive to get the time you want. it truly felt like a family vacation with the fabulous hotel accommodations. The only thing that made us sad was that we didn't stay longer. This is definitely a Downtown Houston Macaroni Kid hotel favorite.
