I grew up watching so many Disney movies, and I could still sing the songs from them. One of my favorites is the Lion King. I was so excited to see Disney has launched The Lion King live-action movie, so now I can enjoy this classic with my children which brings these treasured characters to life in a whole new way.
Disney’s The Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau, takes you on a journey to the African Savanna, where a future king is born. Simba was always my favorite character and is so adorable in this movie. He idolizes his father King Mufasa, and with help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his. This movie is spectacular; filled with beautiful animals, amazing scenery and a fantastic plot. It’s an action-packed movie and will keep you glued to the television waiting to see what is going to happen next. To see the trailer click here.

Recently I hosted a Disney The Lion King Halloween Outdoor Movie Night. The guests enjoyed face painting, snacks, crafts and of course a great family movie to watch. Both the adults and children were singing along to the songs and thoroughly enjoyed Disney’s The Lion King! It brought back memories for the adults while creating new ones for the kids.
This makes for a great movie to have home perfect for those friend sleepovers, family movie nights or even take in the car for a road trip.

The all-star cast includes Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala. It was so great to hear James Earl Jones as Mufasa!
