Happy Fall Macaroni Kid friends! While things are kind of getting back to normal (well sort of) kids are in school - virtually or in person, there are pumpkins starting to pop up around town and the weather is a little cooler and currently beautiful.
It's a good time to think about that moment in time we were "forced to slow down". While my kids were bummed they had to stop playing sports, my husband lost his job and of course, kids couldn't see friends, what was important to my
husband and I was to try to remain positive in front of each other and the kids. Try to turn this negative into a positive. We tried to enjoy this time that we didn't have to run around to different activities, this time my husband didn't spend over
2 hours a day commuting to and from work.
We played more board games, played outside together more, took daily walks together, rode our bikes more, organized parts of the house (while also making a mess). Now that things are starting to open up more, we want to make sure we don't
forget about the fun we had together just keeping things simple. I hope you do the same.
Be safe and have an awesome week!
