Monday – Friday: 5-10 pm (Fridays open until 11pm)
Saturday & School Holidays*: 11 am-11 pm
Sunday: 11 am – 8 pm
Thanksgiving Day: 11 am-11 pm
Christmas & New Year’s Eve: 11 am-7 pm
Christmas & New Year’s Day: 1-7 pm
MLK Day: 11 am – 10 pm (Jan. 21)
School Holidays (HISD) include: Nov. 19-23; Dec. 24-28 & 31; Jan. 1-4 & 21
The ICE rink hours will be affected by private events 12/16, 1/13 and 1/20.
The ice rink may be closed or delayed at times due to weather conditions. Call 713.434.RINK (7465) for updates and check discoverygreen.com for closures and other delays.
Ticket sales support Discovery Green Conservancy, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that depends on the generosity of park visitors and other friends to maintain the park and to fund the more than 600+ free events held here every year.
General admission: $11 admission. $4 skate rental. (Tax Included)
Members: $11 (Free skate rental)
Group Rate: $13 includes tax and skate rental (Parties and groups request)
Cheap Skate Night: $15 for 2 or $8 for 1. Not available during school holidays.

The ICE Box
The ICE powered by Green Mountain Energy offers 'The ICE Box', our separate, pint-sized rink for skaters 45" or shorter below the age of 4.
Wheelchairs
If you are a non-motorized wheelchair user, you are welcome to enjoy the rink in your own wheelchair. You must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times while on the ice rink. Motorized wheelchairs are not permitted on the ice rink. Admission for the wheelchair user is free.
Bringing a group?
The ICE at Discovery Green powered by Green Mountain Energy is perfect for church groups, daycare and school field trips, scout outings, birthdays, and company parties.
