Description
The Museum is located at 5401 Caroline St. at the corner of Calumet and Caroline Streets in Houston's Museum District just one block from the METRORail Museum District rail transit stop. Please note: Our Permanent Exhibit is not recommended for children under the age of 10 years old.
The Museum is free to all on Thursday from 2 to 5 pm
Admission is free on the following holidays:
- International Holocaust Remembrance Day – January 27, 2020
- Yom HaShoah – April 21, 2020
- Memorial Day – May 25, 2020
- D Day – June 6, 2020
- Veterans’ Day – November 11, 2020 for active servicemen and veterans
- Human Rights Day – December 10, 2020
Holocaust Museum Houston is dedicated to educating people about the Holocaust, remembering the 6 million Jews and millions of other innocent victims and honoring the survivors' legacy. Using the lessons of the Holocaust and other genocides, the Museum teaches the dangers of hatred prejudice and apathy to tens of thousands of people worldwide each year.
