From August 9–11, 2024, Texas will hold an annual sales tax holiday that allows shoppers to purchase certain back-to-school items tax-free. Qualifying items include most clothing, footwear, school supplies, and backpacks under $100. They can be purchased from a Texas store, or from an online or catalog seller doing business in Texas.
