Description
Celebrate Asian Heritage at CCC: Chinese Calligraphy Class (Beginner’s Level) Registered youth participants are required to be with their parents. CCC requires that a minimum of 5 ppl are in attendance or class is canceled and ticket is refunded. Discover the beauty of Chinese calligraphy in this beginner class. You’ll learn the history of this art form, brush handling, simple stroke techniques, and Chinese characters. Perfect for those new to calligraphy or looking to explore Chinese art and culture in a hands-on way. No prior experience required—all materials provided. At the end of class, participants will have produced their own work in a wooden frame (provided with class fee). Participants have a choice of writing out their own name or chosen Chinese characters.
